ABE Program

ABE - Adult Basic Education

Adult Basic Education classes [provides instruction for individuals who are interested in improving basic skills of reading, writing, and mathematics or need assistance to transition into the labor market or higher academic or vocational training.

While the classes are instructor led, students requiring extra assistance can work independently with tutors or together in small groups. As with all START Center programs students can enhance their lives with valuable skills, such as how to find and keep a job, manage money, communicate more effectively, and learn practical life skills.
